Bert was tired, so he went to bed early.
Ernie wasn’t tired. “Bert! You sleep too early! Get up and chat with me!” said
Ernie ”Sorry, Ernie. I’m tired. Could we chat tomorrow?” said Bert as he
crawled into the bed. “I can play the trumpet for you. I just learned, “Lullaby”.
I can help you sleep!” said Ernie. Then Ernie played”Lullaby” on his trumpet. “Bert!
Come on! You can sing along!” Bert tried to cover his ears with his pillow but
it was too noisy. Finally Bert got up and said, “Okay! I am awake! You play the
trumpet and I sing along!” “No Bert. I am tired. I’m going to sleep now. You
can sing along!” said Ernie.
