Bert and Ernie were preparing themselves
for school. While Ernie was brushing his teeth. Bert stared at his closet
thinking what to wear. He asked Ernie for help. Ernie was surprised with Bert’s
question! All his clothes and shoes were in the same style and color. He asked
Bert a question, “Look at your clothes and shoes, do you see any difference?”
Bert said, ”You’re a genius, Ernie! Thanks for helping.” Soon they left for
school. In the class, someone joked about Bert clothes and said, “Bert, if
there is an award for not changing clothes, you will be the winner!” Everyone
laughed loudly at Bert. Bert was embarrassed. The boy knew he had hurt Bert
felling and he apologized to him. Then Bert was happy again.
