Ernie’s mom got him a trumpet for his
birthday. “Look! My mom got me a trumpet! Listen, Bert!” said Ernie happily.
Bert was so tired. He just got back from work. All he wanted to do was to eat
and sleep. “No, Ernie. I am really tired and I have a headache.” said Bert
tiredly. “Are you sick, Bert? Let me cook for you!” said Ernie. Ernie made fish
congee for Bert. It was delicious! “Bert, you don’t have to be a musician, you
can be a chef!” said Bert. “Thank you! Now you have to rest! I will play the
trumpet to help you to sleep better!” said Ernie.
