One morning, Ernie bought a trumpet, he
liked it very much! When Bert was sleeping, Ernie was playing the trumpet. Bert
couldn’t have a good sleep! Bert covered his ears. He was angry and he didn’t
want to be friends with Ernie anymore. Ernie only wanted to make Bert up! Ernie
was very sad, and he threw the trumpet in garbage can. The next day, Bert felt
so bad because he was mean to his best friend. He took the trumpet out of the garbage
can, cleaned it and gave it to Ernie in a big beautiful box. “I am so
surprised!” said Ernie, “I will play it every morning!”
