Ernie was noisy every night. Bert hated
Ernie for making noise at bed time all the time. Bert hoped Ernie could quite
down, so he could have a sweet dream. One night, Ernie was still noisy. Bert
couldn’t stand Ernie for being so noisy anymore! Bert was angry, but Ernie didn’t
mean to upset him. He just wanted to play with Bert. Bert was sorry to lose his
temper. Bert didn’t know Ernie just wanted to play with him. He wanted to cheer
Ernie up, so he said, “Ok! Let’s play the musical instruments.” Ernie was glad,
so he clapped hands loudly. They played the piano, the drums, the trumpet and
the flute. They played every musical instrument they had. At the end, this was
a good and wonderful night for both of them!
