Coloring Contest 著色比賽
本次評分著重於配色對比在畫面上的協調性，是否能適切凸顯畫面主題與視覺重點。其次，配色可大膽強烈跳脫既定印象、發揮創意，亦可在原有圖稿外加入自我創意圖樣，增加故事性或畫面趣味。
最後，完整度可量的不只有色彩塗佈面積，亦需考量是否展現媒材的上色特性、以及不同的用筆和線條趣味。
總結來說，今年的參賽作品大多展現出孩子們的多元創意與豐富的想像力，期待來年，能看到更多充滿童趣與歡樂的作品。
Drawing and Writing Contest 繪畫寫作比賽
The average students have met our expectations in the drawing and
writing contest. Most of them were able to give us a demonstration of their
creative potential, some on a larger scale and others, although lacking of
ideas still showed their talent at a certain point.
Creative Writing Contest
Since we expected the
students to translate their own ideas into words, we have primarily selected
those who applied what they saw in the given picture simply as part of their
writing, whether they used it as the introduction, middle or end of their
story. Such students were able to create stories that were far more interesting
than simply describing a picture. On the other hand, many students simply
limited themselves to describe the picture and didn’t allow their imagination
to go much further. Though some of these students have shown creativity in
their description.
We especially appreciate those works that depict the positive
characters of Ernie and Bert, which convey a warm friendship between them.
Picture Book Writing Contest
A great number of students seemed to be surrounded by inspiration.
They have delivered amazing art works combined with brilliant stories! However,
we have found some of the stories were copied from books word by word. If
telling a story from a book, the students should use their own words. We wouldn’t
like to be unfair to those who put so much efforts into this contest and used
their imagination to create something new and original. We also appreciate
those works that contain positive views of humanity.
Every child has creative potential, whether
they know it or not. When it comes to creativity, we’d rather encourage the
students to express themselves than do things for them.
All in all, we would like to thank all the
teachers that encouraged the students to do their best and express their own
ideas.
