Today was the first day of the summer
vacation. Ernie did not have to go to school, so he felt very bored. He wanted
to play with his friend, Bert. He rode his new bicycle to Bert’s house. When
Ernie arrived at Bert’s house, Bert was sleeping. Ernie took out his trumpet to
make Bert up. Ernie made a lot of noise, so Bert had to wake up. Then, they
rode their bicycles to the park together. They played ball in the park and they
were happy, they had a good time. After that, they went to the library to read
some storybooks. Finally, they went to eat ice cream and hot dog for dinner.
They had a wonderful day and they decided to play together the next day.
